Photographic Proof

How do you decide on a dish to make?
Do you go by referrals of what family and friends have made?
Do you google for certain items?
Or do you skim through magazines and cookbooks until you see something that catches your eye?

That last one is me.  If the Picture looks good, I then read the ingredient list and so on and so forth….

The problem is, I haven’t been doing that.  I’ve written about recipes, explained what works, but I haven’t had many images to go along with them.

Truth be told often I forget until I’m halfway through a meal.  Or I think it won’t look that great, so I don’t.

But since this is what draws me in, I’m making it a goal to snap more shots.

I agree. I’ve tried to take pictures (usually of cakes and sometimes of desserts with recipes) but I’m not a great photographer and I don’t have adequate tools. Oh well.
