Cheers to the Patrons

I have a phenomenal group of friends.
They have been imperative in my wandering journey into the world of cooking.
Some, haven’t even had my cooking, but yet remain not only positive and encouraging, but see me as a person with food knowledge, and a ‘go-to’ gal.
I try to remind I am but a novice, but I have come to believe that in their minds, passion makes up for practice.

Of course, I have a fair share of those who have eaten my food or have seen it/smelled it while I was reheating it. Some ask what I have made lately, while others devour every morsel.

I was beyond delighted a few weeks ago when my pie (THE pie) nearly seemed to nearly create a frenzy at work. 3 people received pieces, then one after another voices piped up with requests and bemoaning the fact that there wasn’t more.

It all encourages me. Gives me the feeling that something I like, also happens to be something I do well. I cannot imagine this journey without them. I wouldn’t cook nearly as much or be nearly as enthusiastic if I couldn’t share.
